All cattle must be in place by 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005 and entries
must be made and paid at secretary’s office by 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2005.
ONLY EXCEPTION: EXHIBITORS OF STEERS ONLY and *IF COMING FROM OTHER SHOWS.
(* These exhibitors must pre-register with the superintendent if they are
coming from another show, and will be unable to arrive by 8 p.m. Thursday,
July 17).
All cattle exhibited must comply with heath requirements set up by the IL
Department of Agriculture as explained here.
Stalls will be marked off on Tuesday, July 19. Any exhibitor wanting certain
stalls should contact one of he superintendents prior to that time. We will
make every effort to accommodate you.
Open beef breeding cattle will be shown on Saturday, July 23 starting at
9 a.m. Show order will be Simmentals; Herefords and Polled Herefords; Angus;
Shorthorns; and All Other Breeds.
Cattle in "all other breeds" must meet minimum requirements for
registration in their respective breeds and/or be "at least 1/2 blood".
Exhibitors must provide pedigrees to the superintendents.
Must have registration papers or proof of application.
Showing will commence with the youngest heifer class.
The superintendents reserve the right to eliminate a breed show if that
breed doesn’t have 15 head entered and (2) exhibitors. That breed will be
included in "all other breeds."
All open breeding stock must have a valid health certificate or be checked
by State Approved Veterinarian before exhibition.
All cattle will be released after the steer show on Sunday, July 24.
No exhibitor will be allowed to win more than two premiums in any one class.
Each exhibitor must give name, address and Social Security Number.
