RULES:

1. All market hogs must be on the fairgrounds by 11 :00 a.m. Saturday July 23. ALL HEALTH PAPERS WILL BE INSPECTED BEFORE UNLOADING.
2. Bedding will be provided; no straw allowed in barn.
3. $20 entry fee per head. ($10 of this is a service charge for scanning). Each exhibitor must buy a $10 exhibitor ticket.
4. All animals must be born after Jan 1, 2005.
5. Animals will be shown this year.
6. This Market Hog Show will include Barrows and Gilts. Animals will be placed on foot by the judge and further evaluated by a Real-time scanner.
7. Market Hogs will be weighed from 8:30-11:30 a.m. with the show beginning at I:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2005.
8. This show is open to the world for purebreds and crossbreds.
9. No exhibitor will be allowed to win more than two premiums in each class.
10. The Superintendents have the right to equalize the number in each class.
11. All animals must meet all certification standards.
12. This is a non-terminal market hog show. All hogs must have health papers to be allowed in the barn. Health papers must meet 2005 Exhibition Livestock Requirements for County Fairs

Weight Range 200-280 (classes will be broke after weigh-in)
5 classes of barrows on foot and scan
5 classes of gilts on foot and scan
Premiums

15 Premiums offered in classes: 1st - $100; 2nd - $75; 3rd - $50; 4th - $40; 5th - $30; 6th - $25; 7th - $20; 8th - $10.

16 Champions Overall will receive $250 and Reserve Champions Overall will receive $150.

All Health Papers Will Be Inspected Before Unloading.

A truck will be provided for those who wish to sell the day of the show, but all hogs still must have Health Papers according to State of Illinois Exhibition Rules.
