Rules:
Any girl or boy who is six (6) years old but not nineteen (19) by January 1, 2010, is eligible to show in the Junior Show.
All animals exhibited by junior exhibitors must be registered in their name by May 15. All pedigrees should be available if requested by the Superintendent.
All entries must be shown by the boy or girl owning them.
If an exhibitor has two (2) heifers in one class, then the second heifer must be shown by an eligible junior exhibitor in accordance with the rules.
Exceptions for special circumstances only if made prior to show with the rules.
All heifers for Junior Show for each breed will be held immediately after their respective breed's open show on Saturday, July 24.
All heifers must be registered with their respective breed association. All heifers in " All Other Breeds" must meet minimum requirements for registration in their respective breeds and/or be at least "1/2 blood".
All entries must be made by 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 23, at the secretary's office.
No more than 2 entries are allowed in 1 class.
Entry Fees
Stall Fee: $5.00/head if showing only in Junior Show (No stall fee if already paid with open entries.)
Premiums:
1st-$30.00, 2nd-$25.00, 3rd-$20.00, 4th-$15.00, 5th-$12.00
In each breed their will be two classes for the Junior Show in each breed: Born after 6/1/09 and Born from 1/1/09 to 5/31/09.
Champion Heifer and Reserve Grand Champion Heifer will receive Rosette only.
