- All heifers must be born after September 1, 2008.
- All bulls must be born after January 1, 2008.
- All breeding cattle will be shown using the futurity
system. A maximum of 35 heifer classes and 25 bull classes will be
shown. The heifer and bull classes will be determined by the
Superintendents after all entries have been made.
- There will be four group classes offered with five
premiums in each breed: a. Pair of Heifers, b. Pair of Calves,
both sexes, after July 1, c. Pair-one bull and heifer any age, d. Graded
Herd-one bull and three heifers any age.
- There will be two group classes offered with three
premiums in each breed: a. Pair of Bulls, b. A Trio of Heifers.
- Each Champion Bull and Heifer in their respective breed
receive $25 and will come back to compete for Champion and Reserve Champion
Bull and Heifer over all breeds at the conclusion of the Open Show.
